Adam Scown – Singer/Dancer

Adam ScownAdam is a seasonal performer in all facets of the entertainment industry. He trained at Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Australia and his previous musical theatre credits include Hellsing (Original Cast Workshop UK), Disney’s High School Musical (UK Tour), Dirty Dancing, The Boy From Oz (with Hugh Jackman), Grease, Aloft, Shadowbox and Aladdin. He has played the role of Sal in the UK Tour of Oh! What A Night choreographed by Kim Gavin and was also the swing in the Australian production of the same show. He recently covered and played the role of Chambers & Muddles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Adam has also performed internationally in numerous shows in Dubai, Korea, China, Singapore, Bangkok and Shanghai.

Adam performed in the Australian handover ceremony at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games Closing Ceremony and in the tap segment at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. He has danced commercially with and vocally supported artists such as Tina Arena, Kelly Clarkson, Rogue Traders, Kele Le Roc, Marcia Hines, Caroline O’Connor, Kate Ceberano, Times 3 and many others. He has done numerous voiceovers for commercials such as 3Mobile UK, Qantas, Fosters Beer, IBM, Nutella, David Jones, Nissan and McDonald’s, as well as modeling for leading swimwear and underwear labels in both the UK and Australia.

Adam has worked with many of Australia’s leading choreographers at numerous live events, commercial and corporate functions. He has been seen recently on television in BBC Three’s ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ as guest choreographer, a guest role in Home and Away (playing the part of Kym), Australian Idol, The Midday Show and tele-series Octavia for ITV2.

His film credits include Bootmen (with Adam Garcia), Oscar & Lucinda (with Cate Blanchett & Ralph Fiennes) and the recently Oscar winning animated film Happy Feet.

Adam is keen to pursue his passion as a dancer and singer in London and would like to thank his family for their ongoing support.
